October 2026

Verification API

• 2026-10-27 POST /api/verify checks an audio file by URL and posts the signed result to a webhook. It takes a personal token with the use Verification API; such a token checks files only and reads no data. New codes: 409.2, 422.11, 429.2, 429.3, 503.11, and in the webhook 422.12, 503.12.

Error Codes

• 2026-10-09 422.x and 503.x are replaced by specific codes: 422.7 missing voice or prompt, 422.8 unknown voice, sound or prompt, 422.9 nothing to generate, 503.9 usage calculation failed. Asset and track failures while finalizing now report 503.4.
• 2026-10-09 A locked track reports 409.1 instead of 401.3.
• 2026-10-09 POST /api/beacon answers 503.10 (HTTP 503) instead of 422.3 (HTTP 422) when storing fails.
• 2026-10-09 A failed voice or sound lookup reports 503.5 or 503.6 instead of 422.x "not found".
• 2026-10-09 Webhooks deliver only errors you can fix: 409.1, 422.7, 422.8, 422.9. Unknown voices, sounds and prompts are reported as 422.8 (previously 503.3, or no webhook for prompts). Internal failures (503.x, 404.x) are no longer delivered; we republish once resolved and the finished track is delivered as usual.

Track API

• 2026-10-09 POST /api/track answers 503.8 when the lookup itself fails, instead of 404.1. 404.1 now only means no track exists under the slug.

Audio Output

• 2026-10-27 Public verification at /verify: signature and watermark, with a signed result. See AI Provenance.
• 2026-10-27 MP3 files carry a signed, time-stamped C2PA manifest that declares them AI-generated, and an inaudible watermark that identifies the production and survives re-encoding. See AI Provenance.
• 2026-10-08 MP3 files are marked as AI-generated: IPTC Digital Source Type in XMP (ID3 PRIV) and in a TXXX:DigitalSourceType frame. See AI Provenance.

September 2026

Validation

• 2026-09-21 422.2 issues changed shape: new code names (invalid_format, invalid_union, invalid_value), reworded messages ("Required" is now "Invalid input: expected string, received undefined"), no received. Paths and what is accepted are unchanged; string limits now count code points, not UTF-16 units.

• 2026-07-30 Webhook deliveries now include an X-Huebsch-Delivery-Id header (idempotency key) and time out after 10 seconds. See Webhooks.
